SINGLE USE BOWIE DICK PACK FOR DAILY TEST
The disposable Bowie Dick pack test EC.STEAM 98.1L is composed by an external sheet of medical grade paper printed with a chemical indicator suitable for steam sterilization. The inside part is made by two filtering layers of pure pulp paper, and in its centre is placed the chemical indicator sheet for performing test. All the filtering papers are wrapped by two paper strips which guarantee a costant compactness to the inner side of this pack, in order to allow the correct permeability of steam through the paper’s microholes and not through the sheets.
All used materials are pure and suitable for medical applications.
The internal sheet shows peculiar features given by its own composition: the dimensions are cm 12,5x23 and it is shared in two parts. The first one is suitable for the specific daily Bowie Dick test because it is printed with the chemical indicator laminated, sensitive to Temperature, Time and satured Steam; the second part is printed with a recorder sheet with spaces which will be filled by the operator with the cycle information.
It’s easy to understand the advantages given by the descprition above: at first sight the sheet is folded to get the exactly dimensions of the whole pack. After perfoming test, the pack will be opened and the internal sheet will be removed and unfolded: this allows an immediate verify of the result and an easier and complete recording.

The disposable Bowie Dick pack test EC.STEAM 98.1/E is composed by an external sheet of medical grade paper, an adhesive removable label with product’s data and a chemical indicator suitable for steam sterilization. The inside part is made by two filtering layers of pure pulp paper, and in its centre is placed the chemical indicator sheet for performing test. Such packing guarantees a constant compactness to the inner side of this pack, in order to allow the correct permeability of steam through the paper’s microholes.
The internal sheet, suitable for the specific daily Bowie Dick test, is printed with a chemical indicator ink, sensitive to Temperature, Time and satured Steam; in the same sheet there are recorder spaces which will be filled in by the operator with the main cycle informations (date, operator, autoclave, test passed/failed).
After performing test, open the pack and remove the internal sheet: this allows an immediate verify of the result and an easier and complete recording.
