BIOPACK disposable biological pack for steam sterilization is composed by several filtering layers made of pure pulp medical grade paper with an housing in its centre where it is placed the biological indicator. This is well contained in a special external packing with a chemical indicator which allows the easy identify of pack already exposed to steam sterilization process.
The internal vial is also provided of label with chemical indicator.
Inside the pack is placed the recorder sheet which can be filled by the operator with the most important cycle information.

BIO-CHECK self contained biological indicator
Self contained biological indicator for monitoring steam or ethylene oxide sterilization. It contains bacterial spores on a paper carrier, inserted in a thermoplastic culture tube. Inside this tube there is a small glass ampoule of specially formulated soybean casein culture medium containing a colour indicator which turns to yellow when spores grow.
The biological indicators are easy to use and they provide visual results within 48 hours without laboratory transfer.
Place the biological indicator inside product or product packages have to be sterilized. The inoculated pack is then placed in the sterilizer and processed.
After removal form the sterilizer, the biological indicator is activated. Use the crushing device to break the glass ampoule, by pressing the sides of the plastic tube, in order to mix it with spores.
In this way the biological indicator is activated and it is then placed in appropriate incubator.
If any spores survive the process, the medium will turn yellow.

BIO-CHECK INCUBATOR
BIO-CHECK incubator is designed for incubation of BIO-CHECK biological indicators, suitable for monitoring steam and EO Gas sterilization processes.
The incubator is provided of 14 housings for placing the biological indicators.
A pilot switch is located on the bottom of the incubator to check its functioning. A further verify could be effected by a thermometer.
This thermometer with a temperature range from 10°C to 60°C, is available upon request.
